Hey bud. On this type of thread you should be able to measure the outside diameter. 9/16 should measure 14 to 14.29mm and M15 should measure very close to 15mm(14.85 to 15mm).

9/16-24 is 14.29mm outside diameter and Internal is about 13.2 depending of the manufacturers tolerances. 15x1 is 15 mm outside diameter and about 14 mm internal . Don’t shoot with your 15x1...
