I remember paying about $230 for 100 Norma brass about 6 years ago..... 15 reloads later, still got them and only lost 4.... So if your not running hot loads or careless when ejecting cases........

Ive used the 162 Amax at distances from 10meters out to 602meters in my 18inch 7mm08 without any issues. As muzzle velocity was only 2530fps, it still works fine. Was using the 162eld-m as well....

I ran an 18inch tikka7mm08 for years, ran as a long actiom and threw the 162Amax @ 2530fps. Fallow and goats werent an issue out to 500meters. With longest shot being a 602meter goat. Helped...

Unless your using bushing dies or a tight neck chamber, i wouldn't bother. I'm having to neck turn my hornady brass in the 300prc, bushing die with inconsistent neck thickness.
