7mm 6.5 prc is a good idea. The cases are almost identical and there is plenty of brass around. The 7mm saum is only 100fps behind the 7prc for a fair bit less powder.

Stuff (leaves etc) gets caught up in it when pushing thru scrub which i can live with but it seems to rust easier. Fluting saves 3/8's bugger all weight. Really is just adding to asthetics or "wank"...

I'd say the opposite: you current have 6 different powders for 6 rifles (possibly 7) I would be downsizing where a single powder does more than 1 calibre (though possibly not the best powder for...

The Lee scales are not the nicest in the world to use but are perfectly accurate...and compact. The biggest issue is they take a long time to dampen. Just pick up a couple of circular magnets from...

Go off the size that won't chamber as that is what is important. If its new brass it may take a few firings until you are actually doing much sizing.

I prefer beam scales, I haven't had much luck with electronic ones. With the Lee scoops, a trickler, and well-damped scales (my Lymans are excellent) I find beam scales just as quick to use.

The 162 a-max was an absolute hammer in my 7mm mag. If you can find some 162 eld-m they would be my go to projectile. I’d be trying to find a more accurate load, the 7mm mag is a 6-700yd round with...

The 162 amax at that speed is a real killer, the eldm will be similar in construction but the extra mass would stop them blowing up too soon.
