    Had 2970 with 2225 and 180 eldm in a 24 inch rem mag. Was a fairly warm load but no pressure signs. Didn’t go very high with 26, stopped at 2850 as it was very accurate.

    Even though you use those long mag you still limited by 3.4xx coal length without having the action metal work. The coal of the 180 vld hunting is about 3.475 in my Sako 85 to touch the land.
