    Hot egr is no good for emissions so it needs to be cooler which cools the oil vapor which mixes with soot to form sludge Smaller engine making more power needs more boost so more oil vapor Shit...

    Wouldn’t worry about the electrics in the older ones, yes maybe some caps need replacement but once it’s done it’s good for another 20 years If you go diesel terry then make sure it got good...
