Have the Kuiu, like it. A few too many bells and whistles (zips, pockets etc) but very comfortable pack to carry and use.

Yes thats the one - its a tough outer with fleece inside, cuts the wind. He also has the puff doggy for cold nights in the bush, get some tail wagging when he sees it unpacked.

I use a Kaffelogic - a guy in port chalmers makes them, like a commercial version of the modified popcorn maker. Roasts 100g in 10 mins.
