I use the deep creek method for finding the lands. 1. Strip down your bolt (firing pin, extractor. Everything that will put pressure on the case). 2. Find a sized case where the bolt drops freely...

I don't mind at all. Hopefully I have been clear enough (In my first post I mentioned it's over max and again when I posted over max data). When venturing past max, my new approach is to cross...

It maybe, but It has an SD of zero. That’s unheard of consistency.

Everyone seems to think 2209 is the go to ADI powder for sub 140gr projectiles in the 6.5x55. 2213SC worked really well for the 129gr Interlock. The siren of accuracy was calling, so I thought why...

I got round to some accuracy testing and was surprised at the results. Both were 6 shot groups at 100m. I played around with the seating depth for both powders but settled on using the same for each....

I think all the zeros got to me. I've looked at the numbers again and the beam scale is ±0.0021g or ±0.015gr. In which case is perfectly adequate.

I don't have any. However having both scales read that closely gives me some confidence in the readings.

If you're on a budget keep an eye out for some second hand Mitutoyo dial calipers. Then find a friend or machine shop with some gauge blocks to verify their accuracy. I did and couldn't be happier.

I saw it a while ago and got paranoid . Now all my powder lives in a sealed container with a desiccant (moisture removal egg). Primers too, in a separate location.
