   Fold a piece of paper towel in the front edge inside the vac bag catches all the juice before the vacum packer, works well for fish etc

    Yes it is salvageable.But with a dozen other stihls I am in no hurry to fix this one.It will be cheaper to get the parts in overseas than the silly prices we pay here for them.Same with saws for that...

    Nope that went all the way under.The ground was soft after the rain on the weekend so helped cushion a little. Anything husky would have faired worse!!!!
