Grab it, I know several A graders who have them. There's a bit of snob factor that goes with shot gunning, when I started I had a lanber and was laughed at but it fitted me and I shot very well with...

Moa Hunter liked post by Marty Henry On thread : W209 Alternative
Don't overthink it, a slug of 1 oz will have less bearing area on the bore than a charge of shot of the same weight, that means it's easier to accelerate and in theory that keeps peak pressure lower....

Back scatter from atmospherics especially with a rifle mounted spotlight is the deciding factor. 300 with an x2 is a good maximum really. Having the spot a ways off to the side is a serious help ...

It's usually plastic from the wads unless you are using fibre in which case it's lead. It can be scraped out if you wish or a stiff bronze brush or turks head will get rid of it in a few passes...

I have seen this in the raw and am fascinated and impressed with your cleverness especially the .22 mags. I'll send you a case when I get home no need to return it.

I much prefer 2 stage triggers, like mickey says they concentrate you. I have a mini in 7,62 x39, the triggers fully ajustable and it breaks at 3 lb. Guess it's what your used to though.
