I'd say red. Once a fallow antler gets a couple of points it usually shows some flattening of the beam as in starting to palm.

24-26 would be good, otherwise shorter and you may as well just use a 260 or 6.5x55 despite you saying you are not after the speed. I recon RL26 will be your friend with this round, esp in the AI...

I've had exactly the same grouping experience at 100m with 143ELD-X & 147 ELD-M with my 260Imp with 1:8 barrel as your grouping above. I haven't had a chance to stretch their (ELD-M) legs yet over...

Have both Stug & Hi Tech, both are great. Hi-Tech have a higher comb on the Tikka than standard, nice for prone shooting.

Sikaflex 260 comes to mind for a good multi purpose urethane. I've used it to glue my boots back together and lasted ages. You would want to have a decent thick layer between the box and gong, to act...
