But note that you must measure over solid horn at the base, not over air so to speak, so this is usually a little up off the base of the horn where it forms complete coverage under the tape :)

Only comment I can add, I always used W760 powder & a magnum primer for the 7x57 with excellent results. 760 is a very dense ball powder, so the mag primer was a good option for ignition. From memory...
