Dylan cant help you with the Zeiss, but would advise against the Vortex. A few mates who own them all had to send them back for repair or replace at some stage, ranging from bottom to top end vortex...

Last shoot for the season, left Waiouru for palmy at 0430, arrived at the spot 0630. Things were looking good few birds around, first mob to commit, gun up bang and a jam. Turned out the extractor...

I would have thought that was pretty obvious, the whole point being to see if overall, as hunters, if ranges of animals shot has increased. Seems to be a resounding no, with the obviously very small...
