Yes it will do everything you need it to from 0 - 500 if suitably scoped and drop chart sorted. Recoil is a step up if you've been used to a 6.5cm, 243 etc but completely manageable, no dramas at all...

Can also vouch for the 6-24 helix, solid scope and repeatable adjustments with a good zero stop, I would agree with Tahr with the glass comparison. Only sold on as it was too much magnification for...

Had the same dilemma with my 375h&h, ended up going with a 3-9x40, covers all bases. Still low enough magnification to not be detrimental in the bush.

Yeah I did play with that, still not spectacular. Now a 1-8 twist and the 135gr pills would be worthwhile.
