Was a period where the quality of the barrels, especially the .260s, was hit and miss and a few just would not shoot. Sounds like the issue has been resolved but I think the odd dud still turns up....

There is a formula in one of my old Lyman reloading manuals which works well. You may be able to find it online. If not, let me know and I can probably find and photograph it @MB

If you think guns are expensive in NZ, you should see the price of fresh tomatoes! Seriously, NZ is very expensive across the board.

With a dead battery you just have a "normal" scope so no problem. It runs on a CR2032 and the Firedot can be set to about 6 different intensity levels (or brightnesses) and it is turned on as soon as...

The RRP on the rifle is $1899, comparable with Tikka models. I would have thought it's the Ducks Guts for NZ as I hear a lot have a Bushpig rifle. There always modification s to be had bit this...

Sounds a lot like mine except for the carbon:) 203998 One thing I would add. The Firedot is a must.

And I hope you see my point. Just because it has a 16" barrel doesn't mean you have to limit yourself to a low 1-5x scope.

Yes if you have a 7mm RM you like then I can't see any point in the 308 or 30-06. 22rf, Shotgun make sense. A 223 is a good choice for a volume shooter, easy on the body, accurate and cheap. 7mm...
