    Nice try Micky, You have more or less reinvented the .270 Titus Savage or more closely the .270 Creedmoor. Developed to allow a .270 cartridge that could be used in a Savage 99 rifle. GPM.

    I have no idea. That's not what I was saying really. I think I'm on record as saying that anything from 243 too 30/06 will work for NZ general hunting conditions depending on how you choose to use...
