Thermals,as in thin layer next to skin,postie plus has good stuff at great low prices,it lasts just as long as top branded stuff and if rip it on bush lawyer or rocks I don't cry over the cost.

Unless you dialling up n stretching the barrel,why chase velocity if load is accurate enough to do what you need it to do,leave it alone and just go shoot it.

Keep what you have,as it is and make something else do the bush n shorter range type work. Plenty of great rifles second hand for sale at fraction of new price.

They will shoot everyday,fifty to hundred arrows just to maintain muscle memory etc.it is a skill set that takes a LOT of ongoing efforts.
