Mine is one of only two working centerfire rifles I have that isn't bedded , It is just as it came. shoots very well. The other incase your wondering is my 30 30.:)

My 1952 shoots 1.5" groups at 200 yds with 285 gr of any make and 65.5 gr AR2209. 209326 The action and barrel channel have bedding compound done by a previous owner. 209327 209328

My 9.3 is a 1925 Mauser, hasn’t had anything extra done to it and only has open sights. I’ve only done the one load.

I have heard, but not seen myself some of the European ones, think it might have been possibly an ASE run on 338 Lapua and sound reduction was incredible. Heavy and expensive though.
