Couple of weeks ago our local LandSAR group did marshaling for Race Tekapo, a large trail running race. My son Ryan helped on the day and we had decided to tack a hunt onto the trip while we were...

What I read is that you must continue to generate speed as much as possible to ensure the petals fold. That is not a wound it is devastation.

I processed a large Fallow doe today. It revealed text book performance. The bullet was a 60 grn Hammer Hunter at 3280fps from a 20" barrel .223, the range was about 200 yards and she was quartering...

Micky Duck liked post by No.3 On thread : Close Proximity Shooting - Canada Goose - What could possibly go wrong?
My experience of Canada's is nobbing as many as possible in the absolute vitals (either brain or chest) at pretty close range with a suppressed .22LR on farmer's paddocks where the bastards were both...

I also use a suppressed 17hmr which would be effective on a body shot on a goose. Just the price of ammo has become, over the top. Geese are stroppy buggers, so under stand HSs point of view.

I would, by a country mile, far rather support (and do) the small local retailers than big business. Turners in Feilding is a great example of a small town sports shop that has a reasonably wide...

Used a few and a mate of mine used them a lot in his BAR 3006, his words were when you hit them they stayed hit, didn’t go very far if at all. Few more herbs with the 3006 probably about 2700 fps...
