    nope,they keep whole pack dry from rain...but no good if you ford a deep river or need to pack float in a oh shite moment.... 2-3 smaller plastic bags is better than one big one. heavy polythene ones...

    you CANT USE LEAD over water...... need to purchase licence (you arent lawnowner or manager) steel shot in #2-3-4 is what I use...for pond where ranges are going to be short eg 30 or less yards #4...

    bright orange is perfectly ok as would be bright blue...if its pissing with rain,you unlikely to be stalking along stealthily...and if you so shoot an animal,youve got a bright bit of cover to stick...
