all of mine touch...firmly as per the way they were made /fitted by manufacturer of said suppressors...I guess they either need to be firm or not touch at all....

if you take a strip 4-5mm wide ACROSS the pelt...and wind it around shank of hook from tail back up to head,then add a soft hackle.... the hook is hidden...

now here is a suggestion for you...actually for all of you. when your rifle is sighted in...to your desired ZERO.... put the plurry colimeter/boresighter back on wiggle it around till it settled in...
