    look at speer spbt or nosler partition...you want soft and heavy... and yes definitely quieter with less powder in case...can notice difference even in .223 and definitely in .308 or poohseventy....

    bush hobbit here. stop over thinking it. extreme spread.....doesnt even factor into equation out to say 350 yards....if you go back to what was arguably the first NZ hunting book on longish range...
