    ok having used one for best part of 30 years...... they are great to around the 25 yard mark.....YES they will stretch further but its up close that they excel. you NEED to try out different loads...

    ok I do own a .270 that came out with 21ish inch barrel from new....it got a little pruned off to fit can but buggerall as it needs the length to do its thing.....personally no shorter than 20" for...
