Keep at it. Next time go up The Te Tuhi track. You will save a few hours walk. Rather than stay in huts. Bush hunting is hard but persevere. Eventually you will have success.

Keep cracking at the kaimais man getting a stag in there is an awesome buzz. Plenty of them in the southern kaimais too

Be as responsible as you can whilst hunting, you can't control the actions of others. You take more of a risk driving on the road to your hunt than you actually do hunting.
