    Bit of bad luck there but they will still be there and semi undisturbed so next time you will fill the freezer. Everyone misses sometimes my last shot a deer was a clean miss.

    Sounds like an enjoyable hunt, you don't need to shoot an animal every time to have a good day out. At least there was no big carry out at the end.
