I've managed to get them to shoot ok 1'' or less in a standard .243 barrel (1-10" Tikka). Did have to change powder from the ever reliable 2209 in the .243 to N160 but its done the job.

I think the other thing hornady nails is cost. You get berger BC's, good terminal performance and pretty good consistency in a projectile that costs 1/3 less than the equivelent berger or nosler...
