Hay Gibo you are right, we did a few test loads in Beeman's 260 yesterday and easily reached just over 2800 fps with no pressure signs with the 143 gr ELD-X. I think we are going to use 2209 until...

Yep the 243 is a great little caliber but for animals 300 yards is a long way. OK for shooting steel out further but not animals.
