Great trip and good to score your first deer which is usually the hardest to get. Nice looking area to hunt.

Epic trip that one, always good to blood your new rifle first time out, when I got my Mod 7 223 many years back my son and I shot 3 deer the first night out too. Well done plenty of good meat there.

2208 works well with the 55 gr 22 250. 2209 is good in 30 06 and 2217 or 2225 will work with the heavier 7 mm mag bullets.

Nice going, best way to get them in thick rubbish by sitting and listening, they make as much noise as you, it all comes down to who detects who first. Should be a nice haul of meat .
