Agreed, reapply a suitable grease to the bolt lugs once they, & the action recesses are clean to prevent any galling.

If we're talking the lug recesses, I blast them with brake cleaner on my Remington. Don't know if I'd do the same if it was bedded, mines not.

If you already have an E endorsed licence it is just a trip to your local Arms Office with a completed POL67X form and the rifle. Simple.

If it were me, I would make sure the receiver had an affected pistol grip rather than an A-cat compliant one and get it done tomorrow. ie be in possession of a rifle affected by the legislative...
