Yip agree with that. Like it was said, the Govt is guessing as to how much reco's take. Need to get a more accurate account of this per region and adjust quota/bag limit to ensure stocks.

Yes and no Mucko. Agree with numbers but i still believe 80% of the fish are caught by 20% of the fisherman. Im not saying im right but that number surprised me is all.

My 2 cents worth. I am a keen fisher and as VC knows, my employment is directly related to the commercial fishing industry, so I do have a foot in both camps!! Last year we had a good snapper...

I am in agreement. I have seen to many recreational fishos take as much as they can. I like catching fish as good as the next man, but I always just take home enough for a feed and that's about it....
