Some very interesting and effective rifles back then. Old man first got me to fire a jungle carbine 303 - kicked like a horse! My own first rifle was Parker Hale in 243, but it was not very well...

Smartarse... :D I actually just found couple of the Marlin 982SV 22WMR targets from our last range visit. With the calipers your group 0.28" at 50m, and my group to adjust scope up an inch over the...

Not all 22 magnums are poor shooters - though this also was my belief. Few years back I tested a Weihrauch HW 60 J in 22WMR and it was a superb shooter - popped just three groups after sighting in...

Sounds realistic guideline to me, but it is not a fixed all-rifle ratio. I had one standard barrel sporter 22LR that was very good but not the best at 50m - group averages around 0.4" - but take it...

Young fella will love the style - be interesting to how it groups consistently. What total cost for that stock setup? I've got some Hornady 30gr VMax if you want a dozen to test. Runs a bit...

Any 94s are going up strongly. Would actually make good fiscal investments - plus the fun you have with them. Alot better than bank interest! I'd be happy to pick up another 9422 or two and...

Yep that sounds about right. Had a pair of them in 22LR and 22WMR - beautiful little levers. Mint ones will be over 2k within 2-3 years I'm guessing. I see the centrefire Winny 94s in 30-30 etc...

I have no detail on this but Anschutz 1415/1416s evidently had connection with Savage - some variants made by Savage and some by Anschutz. Might account for variation?? ...
