   I tried rainex on an old "expendable" tasco. It worked fine, but not sure I would risk it on a proper scope. 50/50 dettol and baby oil to keep those little black Bastards away. Not on your scope...

   Scope shouldn't fog internally, just dew on outside. I don't bother with caps, just wipe it when it needs it. Some people scrunch up toilet paper and push it in against the lens, then just flick it...
