Yep meindls are a better and more comfortable boot. Lighter too. Haix have other models which may be more suitable. Hard to really say without you trying them on etc Sent from my iPhone using...

Alternatively you could bring some Haix in, I've ordered some direct from factory a couple of times. They have a 2nds store too, and sometimes there's good chainsaw safety boots in there for cheap....

Get a crimping set up bro, you'll need it sooner or later. I crimp everything down to 100lb if its a trace and even then it gets hard tying some knots. I do tie clinch knots on 180 leaders sometimes...
