    One more point I found with the short barrels, even with a can on in a couple of cases - they had a LOT more flash out the end of the tube on firing which while impressive was a really annoying pain...

    The one that wore the engine out in under 100,000K's was a MY14. The MY12 was probably a better vehicle, and I'd agree the rangers had and have had a lot of issues and are rather a lot more lightly...
