I've always liked them but have never held one, what calibre are you getting, new or used, silly dollars or Sako/Weatherby value.

I'm really pleased you have decided to take out the toughh animals and have left the easier ones for me. Those 270 Wsm go well I need to trade my my 7mm saum for one.

Thanks muzza and Fireflite I'm looking for the definite history of BSA rifles not really concerned with air rifles yet (maybe when the 3rd trance comes in) and it's that and wooden spears!

Ok going to try the Speer 160 btsp seems to be same length as the 150 ELD so should get a good case of powder in there. Im old, I like bullets with lead in the front.

If a 100 grain 6mm bullet is touted as being suitable for 90% of NZ game, what is a120 grain 25 calibre bullet capable of? I would say easily just as much.

I still think more magnification is better. I have 2-7 and 3-9 and a bunny at 100 yds on 7 power is a gimme not so much on 4x shooting a BRNO mod 2 and Browning SA. I would like an Annie though.
