I wouldn't use surplus FMJ's on goats, they work but tend just to go straight through without expanding. Therefor can take a while for the goats to die. Best thing for goats if you have lots to...

Loading/ejection port is bigger on a t3x, stock changes and a steel recoil lug. I ended up putting a t3x stock on my old t3 as I like the more upright grip you can change out.

Get the mounting/tow points sorted first, need to be rates and preferable one in each corner. People cannot tow you out properly without them. A good snatch strap and a shovel would be 2nd.

Yea it is a waste for firewood but no one else will do much with it. Some nice pieces would be good for sawn timber but not sure how you would get on with the silt/cracking.
