Tussock liked post by Oli1102 On thread : ADI 4Kg Rifle Powders
Yeah thats more what i was thinking, they can make more and store more 'units' in the 500g bottle. It's just really frustrating as buy 8x500g is easily an extra $100 compared to 1x4Kg...

Yeah, I bought all my reloading setup excluding press from Sinclair. Shipping cost is reasonable and apparently the ‘parcelpost’ option is the cheapest and uy about 2.5 weeks to the door. Good team...

I finally got around to shooting my ladder test. 49.5-54gr. I started around 2740fps for 49.5gr and reached pressure at 53.0gr & 53.2gr (didn't shoot the higher loads) with 2962fps. I am shooting a...

I am just starting to working up a load for my Howa .270, 1-10 twist with 22" barrel. I am using 145gr ELDX and AR2209. Planning to do a ladder test from 49.5-54gr so will see what the results are? I...

Rock river arms hunter liked post by Oli1102 On thread : 9mm - Factory ammunition (reliability)
Most of the guys that shoot factory at our club uses Geco 124gr, from Aoraki which is $370/1000. However, it sounds from other posts that they are sold out at the moment. Plus Geco brass is good...

YosemiteSam liked post by Oli1102 On thread : Headspace variation after sizing
My 7mm08 and .270win all range within a 0.001" ES prior to and post full length sizing (0.002" shoulder set back) using RCBS dies. So a range of 0.004" does sound off, especially with a Forster die....

i would have said exposed for open country as the liklihood of bumping zero is low, and you can confirm you are set on zero periodically or prior to taking a shot if needed. However, if your turrets...

Cheers guys! Yeah, i bought it with the intention to restore it back to some level of use rather than seeing it be destroyed a few years down the track. I am really happy about the finish, however...

Have you considered getting a switchview lever? I have one on mine and it's great! It's manageable without but it certainly helps a lot. Would be a cheaper fix than selling to buy a new scope.

Mine is the actual Vortex one. Use the SV-2 for the aluminium zoom ring and SV-1 for the rubber one.
