Grew up on a farm so hunting came naturally, I learnt to respect wild game and shoot for the freezer, not for the sake of killing to get numbers. I believe you dont have to kill something to enjoy a good hunt. A photo is worth as much as an animal dead on the ground.

    The Tararuas is very good if your prepared to put in the miles. whats wrong with doing the distance? I pull 10-15 deer a year out of the tararuas alone by walking further than most. do the hard work...
