    I reckon river flats, side creeks,etc are still worth a look especially if it's somewhere that's above sea level where the spring growth is late getting to it.

    Put the handle in a vice & tap it out with the stem out of your die, if you can take the shell holder & stuck case out of the hand primer you might be able to twist the primer out with some needle...

    Put some safety glass's on, screw in your full length die and gently push it out, easy as, I've deprimed plenty this way over the years & never had one go off. Biff the primer
