Also be aware that all luggage is x-rayed at the main NZ airports these days, a mate had lighters taken out of his pack, another member here had his cooker taken.

The Arc haul has a slightly tougher fabric than the blast, I’ve looked at them but a lot of those ultralight packs trade durability for lightness. I’ve seen a few folk here using the hyperlite packs.
