Not a shame at all. I have a 303-25, complete with dies and all the stuff to enjoy it with. The .22 sounds to me like a 'barrel' of fun. Go for it, little to lose.

I had one of the first Z1000 Kawasaki's in SA, bought in 1976. Never really stacked up to the z900 in looks or balls. At 65, the second generation(2003) SV650 is exactly what any decrepit old codger...

You need a second generation ( 2003-2012) Suzuki SV650, sir. Plenty good, low mileage ones between $4K and $7K. One of the best motorcycles ever made.

The 1976 F1 750 motor went back to the 1969 KO cams and carbs and thus produced the original 67hp again. A mate of mine had one, bought new in 1976 and we rode a lot together. My Z1000 never got far...
