just on the point of 2 way radio. get the boat along to an RT crowd and have them test it. it only takes one shitty corroded connection etc to make your 15 watt radio transmit 3 watts etc.

I make my own sandfly repellent by mixing dettol disinfectant 50:50 with baby oil. Deer will think they’re entering a chemist shop if they smell it. Sandflies don’t bug me when I use that stuff.
