    whats ya point stretch ? Thermal is used extensively during the day, no issue at all using it on DOC land. Its illegal to hunt doc land at night thermal or no thermal

    Already have one on my 308 and it's awesome but it's not remotely comparable to the vortex in terms of features needed for a medium to long range scope which is what I'm after

    The zeiss hd5 will probably be better than the vortex, vortex has good turrets not sure what zeiss are like. Zeiss is slightly heavier

    I found just running them on the most dim setting did the trick, even then makes you blind when its dark. Getting the focus just right makes a big difference to when looking for awhile

    I really don't see your point.... I've spotlighted deer with a shitty headlight so the definition of "spotlight" could be pretty vague. As long as the bolts out there is no difference to walking...

    My best is 3 in one shot with the bow on our front lawn. Have got 20+ wth a mag full out the shotgun. They are extremely predictable animals, find where they roost then set the blind up close by...
