I agree phillipgr but I'm at the stage the Mrs says "Did you get any not on camera?":D I love photographing deer.;) Bloody great to watch them in the wild and not squeeze the trigger. Next time...

Depends where I'm hunting, but in general I don't shoot hinds at all. I definitely don't shoot deer just for the sake of it, I'm very happy going out and watching them, stalking them and returning...

On this forum I think there were more hinds shot in the roar than stags, and more stags shot since they lost their timber than when they had it.

At the moment I would take anything, because the freezer is low on venison. However come the middle of this month when hinds are likely to have dropped there young I would never intentionally shoot...
