For that Ruff, you will need a younger demographic. There simply isn't enough younger people coming into (and staying in) the sport.

You mention he was quiet until a change in his sleeping arrangement, I would start there. He is young, it's all about routine at this age.

Yep. Make sure he is never let out when noisy. Make a point of everyone hanging around the kennels with him in it. People nearby doesn't mean instant release from kennel, not does barking. Wait until...
