    My experience in the Mamaku Plateau, South Road mainly. I found it best to camp out and hear where they are. There are some good animals up there. Almost the size of horses.

    Learn how to hind call as that often stirs them up. Always roar a little less than they do. Dont be afraid to go quiet and stop roaring if you have one going half arsed as they will often spark up...
