I know of a chap who used to pick up roadkill rabbits etc and tie them under balloons and chuck them out and didnt start fishing untill balloons started to pop...burley burley burley..the bloodier...

Loaded some 300 win mag with 150g coreloc's as I'm running out of my usual 150 fusions. At 525 yds they shoot 4 inches lower. I can live with that.

I haven't done any loaded in over six months. Been trying to perfect 1oz 12g slug reduced loads but gave up after things started to feel a little dangerous pressure wise.

Just loaded up some 9.3 Mauser with 286 grainers at a touch over full power. As Micky Duck says you dont have to load big cases up to the hilt..but for some of us, thats what we do
