Remember that the Wagyu you are using are bred for marbling when crossed with dairy cows, NOT for their ease of calving. SGL aren't either

Mine were 'easy calving' too (although through CRV). There were certainly some big calves, but then we had some big Charolais calves too with far fewer issues. I guess I'm just saying, be aware...

We used 40 straws of Belgium Blue last year in addition to the Charolais that we usually use. Cool calves, but significantly more calving difficulties. Back to all (aside from Sexed Friesian)...

I use 178 eld m's and 2209. Been thinking of changing to eld x's for a bit more certainty on the close shots, but no problems so far
