    If you can't light it with a rock, you're dealing with a fad. The rifle was built from a Jim Chambers kit with no lock inlet, and a l/h Rice round faced lock.

    For a beginners point and squirt rifle I think that you need something between 6 and 8mm, firing a bullet of between 90 and 165 grains, between 2600 and 3100 fps. Then you need to go and shoot it...

    254279 Made this out of O1 hardened to Rc59 to test the shape - if it's good I'll make a better version out of 14C28. If not, I'll keep regrinding away at it till I'm happy.
