That aspect makes it very tempting to actually own a tikka, could then be dropped in a carbon stock to duplicate my hunting rifle but like you said it will most likely carry a full size price tag....

The idea that it can take the same stocks is pretty good. Can easily and cheaply build a good 22 trainer.
