Yeah ya gotta make sure of what's in the box for sure. This one comes with a 600W transducer which will be fine for the shallow water I fish ( less than 100m).

Yeah it may be in the tail cap. Try taking it off and making sure the spring is screwed all the way toward the back ( the switch end) of course it may have cracked a solder joint in the board.

That's the ones. As with good batteries it pays to have a good charger too. I use a Nitecore. Treat the batteries with care and avoid dropping or bashing them and there shouldn't be any nasty flame...
